This classic Himalayan trek unfolds before us the true magnificence and diversity of the mountains and their people. We pass from leafy jungles, to the spectacularly barren Thorong La. See the huge mountain peaks contrasted against the Kaligandaki, the world's deepest gorge. Experience cultures of Tibetan descent, as well as Gurung, Brahmin and Maga tribes. Walk in the path of Hindu pilgrims and Buddhist devotees.

Our journey starts from Ghorka, taking us through the Marsyandgi valley, which divides the vast Annapurna and Manaslu Himals. As we trek upstream, Lamjung (6,850m), Annapurne 2,3,4 and Gangapuna (7,456m) hover above us to the north and in the east, Manaslu (8,127m), Peak 29 (7,837m) and Bhaunda Peak display their sheer might and beauty.

From here we enter the Manag valley and then comes the day long ascent and descent of the Thorong La, an overwhelming experience that for many people is the highlight of their trip. Muktinath presents a further opportunity to observe and enjoy Nepali life. The path to this holy city has been the route of countless devotees, who for thousands of years have come to worship where the eternal flame burns out of a flowing spring.
